At The Positive Mindset Company we run many different types of events. These are updated regularly and we try to offer events on a wide variety of different subjects. They are run at The Well Retreat which is based in Turweston, Northants. They are £35 per person which is for a two and a half hour course. Being in a Relationship with a Narcissist
This course is for people wanting to know more about narcissism such as an individual or health professional. Narcissists can be a parent, friend, partner or colleague. On this course we will talk through the classic traits that they can exhibit and ways to understand more their behaviour. We will also talk through strategies and tools to help you heal and recover.
Being in a relationship with a Narcissist Counselling support group
A non judgemental place to share and talk though your experiences while being in a relationship with a narcissist. These are held once a month.
Mental Health Awarenesses
On this course we will talk through the Definitions of Mental Health, why we can experience poor mental health, how work can play an role in good/bad mental health, different types of mental health issues, how we can be effected mentally, physically and emotionally, how the brain reacts to mental health issues, supporting someone with Mental health issues, listening skills, how to gauge daily how your mental health is using a very easy scale, relaxation techniques to boost your mental health
On this course you will learn strategies and techniques to help reduce their stress levels, what is stress, symptoms of stress on the body physically, feeling and behaviour changes, different types of stress and how we deal with the challenges it brings, mental health issues associated with stress, Identify and overcome negative thinking which can add to stress, relaxation and calming strategies to help feel back in control of stress and stressful situations
Communication and Active Listening Skills
On this course we cover strategies to become better listerners. We can improve our ability to negotiate and avoid conflict and misunderstndings. We often listen to reply not understand. This course gives you the tools to hear beyond the words .
We will cover Styles of communication, Active listening skills, Listening more mindfully,Body language and Non-verbal communication
Writing your next chapter of your life don't let anyone else hold the pen.
On this course we look at setting clear goals to make the changes you would like. Sometimes it is not major changes that are needed but smaller ones that will make a big difference. We will cover what barriers are stopping you, core beliefs that may be holding you back, negative unhelpful thoughts that may be stopping you and also ways to help you feel more empowered to make the changes.
Understanding Borderline Personality Disorder
BPD is becoming a lot more recognised. I believe knowledge is power and the more understanding that people have of the condition the less stigma there is attached to it. This course is aimed at people who have been diagnosed with BPD, a person who's relative has been diagnosed, Heath professional or a Human Resources employee.
Joint custody arrangements can be exhausting and frustrating. This course looks at tools and strategies to help make the process easier and less stressful.
On this course we will give attendees a safe, non-judgemental space to share their experiences both during birth and after. This is open to both parents.
Self-care and why we can feel guilty prioritising ourselves
On this course we will look at what self care actually is, why it is important, the physiological blocks that can stop us, the benefits of practising self and care and the many types of self care.
Grieving the childhood you wished you'd had
Sometimes our childhood was missing enough love, nurturing, safety, care and kindness. This course is to help you connect with your feelings associated with this and help you move forward and heal.
Forming healthy Boundaries
Setting clear boundaries is the key to ensuring relationships are mutually respectful, supportive and caring. On this course we will look at ways to feel comfortable to set boundaries, We will cover the different types of boundaries and give you the tools to have the confidence to use them.
Change your mindset
Our thoughts can control us so much. They can convince us of something that is not a reality, cause us to doubt ourselves. They can hold us back from improving our lives. Our thoughts can become an overbearing security guard who makes us feel anxious and doubt things and people around us. On this course we will look at ways to help you challenge unhelpful negative thought patterns, negative core beliefs and ways to think more positively.
